October was another month where re-issues and remixes were the order of the day.
Sneak remixed ‘Master Of Time’ by Frames feat. J-Dub. This one on Blotter Records. When RDRD LBL reviewed it they said:
“There’s Chi-town bounce in every ounce of “Master Of Time,” a track composed by Frames, enhanced by the creepazoid vocals of J-Dub (Greenskeepers/DFA) and finally regurgitated into a hyperactive, flame-throwing dance brawl by master of disaster, DJ Sneak. All we can say is: clubs, beware. The building ain’t big enough for this one’s shimmy samples, booming voice of God and bubbling walls. Seriously.”
The return of DJ Sneak Classics saw one of the Godfather’s of House, Todd Terry, turn in three versions of ultimate Sneak classic ‘Wickedy Sounds’ – slammin, authentic, raw house grooves! Fellow House Gangster and The Factory’s Hector Moralez also got in on the act too.
The middle of the month saw two Strictly Rhythm classics by Sneak get the remix treatment from Oliver $ and Wax Motif & Neoteric, as part of the new compilation ‘Strictly Rhythms Vol. 9.
