Inspired by disco, hip-hop and a big bag of green, the DJ Sneak’s cut-up tracks are far superior to the vast swathes of faux deep house. In any event, this reissue shows just how skillful he is; over tough tribal beats and rolling groove he drops infectious disco loops. Sneak’s own remix turns up the […]
The one and only House Gangster DJ Sneak is back on his own DJ Sneak Classics label, with firing new remixes and a remastered version of his 1997 track ‘Back’. “This project is all about my mood when playing in warehouses and unusual venues. This set of tracks were made to hit these type of places and events. My whole vibe on these tracks is “Strictly Underground Dirty Moody House Rhythms” lots of bass > grooves > melodies > and hard hittin’ Sneak Beats. This is music for real DJs, the ones that can walk into a party no matter where and make that place bounce!” – DJ Sneak
DJ Sneak presents his second release for Exploited Records, laying down some serious swing on 3 club tracks which are destined to make dance floors sweat this summer, from Ibiza to points beyond. With Sneak’s infamous grill and barbecue sessions in mind the “Night Dish EP” is a proper Döner Kebab and Satay Meal after a heavy night out in Berlin. Featuring artwork by Berlin-based street artist Nomad.
Sneak is back on Plant 74, the label run by good friend Tripmastaz out of St Petersburg, Russia. The title ‘Meteors Over Russia’ references the recent meteorite fall in Chelyabinsk.
As another Canadian winter draws to a close, Sneak emerges with the first fruits of a hard few months of studio time. The first of many new releases see’s him team up with fellow house legends Murk (Oscar G and Ralph Falcon) for ‘To The Bassline’. One of those tracks that you won’t get out of your head once you’ve heard it, it has been picking up plays from Busy P, ÂME, Hot Chip, Kasper Bjørke, Tensnake, Jacques Renault, Agoria, AndHim and many more.
“They don’t even come to see the circus, they come to see the clowns.” After another hectic season in Ibiza, DJ Sneak is back in the studio and on top form, with a typically strong message for the House genre and clubbing. 1 For Da Clowns wears the I’m A House Gangster ethos on it’s […]
