While you may still be recovering from the first I’m A House Gangster event at London’s fantastic Egg, held back on March 1st, it’s time to pick yourself up and do it all over again! The House Gangster crew are returning on Friday 5th July with a line up that features DJ Sneak, a special back 2 back set from Chris Carrier and Hector Moralez, Jordan Peak and Riki Inocente.

On May 6, a special Boiler Room broadcast featured two dance music legends: Todd Terry, who has been mixing and remixing dance music since the 1980s, and DJ Sneak, the original house gangster himself. Both Sneak and Todd Terry came correct, each dropping impressive 55 minute sets. Boiler Room’s been on a tear, and uploaded both the visual and audio for you dance music lovers to soak up.

The I’m A House Gangster collective touch down in Miami on 20th March at Chalk with one of the hottest line-ups at this year’s parties.
The annual Sneak’s Birthday Beats event is back again for the 14th time on November 3rd, bringing yet another legendary line up to Toronto. The 2012 installment sees Josh Wink joining the party, while Sneak goes back to back with Doc Martin for a super-exclusive 4 deck 2 mixer set! Anyone who knows the long history these two have together are probably already getting excited, while younger House fans are in for a real treat as two of House music’s pioneers lay down something very special.
It wasn’t long however till the main room really took off and it could have only meant one thing; Sneak had arrived, was on stage and was dropping his first tune of the night – a jacking remix of the 90s classic, ‘I’ve Got The Power’. As Sneak and Doc worked their way through a memorable six hour, back-to-back, 4 deck set, they took in everything from the classic US sound to darker, deeper, tribal records. Just a few that made it into my recollection of the night include; Black Science Orchestra’s ‘NewJersey Deep’, Flashmob’s ‘Brick House’ and a bouncing remix of MGMT’s ‘Electric Feel’ – all met with a plethora of fist pumps and woops from the crowd.
