There was legendary performances from the likes of Chicago’s Derrick Carter, Francois K and headliners Laurent Garnier and Jamie Jones earlier in the afternoon, with fans heading to the Riverside Museum in Glasgow to enjoy two stages of premier electronic tunes – for a second day. DJ Sneak’s rare back-to-back performance with Cajmere on stage 1 delighted the crowd as the charismatic pair played a tremendous selection of Chi-town house music.
While you may still be recovering from the first I’m A House Gangster event at London’s fantastic Egg, held back on March 1st, it’s time to pick yourself up and do it all over again! The House Gangster crew are returning on Friday 5th July with a line up that features DJ Sneak, a special back 2 back set from Chris Carrier and Hector Moralez, Jordan Peak and Riki Inocente.

Essential Ibiza have news of Carl Cox’s events at Space in Ibiza this coming summer. ‘The Party Unites’ theme sees Carl join forces with some of the biggest talents on the electronic dance scene at the moment, making sure that Tuesday night in Space remains one of the hottest tickets on the island. July 9 sees the opening party of 12 Nights Of The Revolution ‘The Party Unites’ and is as big a statement of intent that you are likely to see this summer. Joining Carl Cox that night will be Dubfire, Tania Vulcano, Copy Paste Soul, DJ Sneak and Nic Fanciulli! DJ Sneak had an outstanding season last summer, playing at most of the hottest parties, his jackin house groove takes no prisoners and doesn’t give a floor any option but to dance.
Sneak recently returned to Montreal’s Igloofest for another party in the snow with 8,000 people. This year’s line-up included Josh Wink and Paolo Rocco. DJMag.ca were also in attendance and made this video featuring action from the gig plus interviews.
This live set was recorded when Sneak played Verboten in May 2012 for their Circoloco night. Sneak returned to Verboten on November 9th – more coming soon on that!
The annual Sneak’s Birthday Beats event is back again for the 14th time on November 3rd, bringing yet another legendary line up to Toronto. The 2012 installment sees Josh Wink joining the party, while Sneak goes back to back with Doc Martin for a super-exclusive 4 deck 2 mixer set! Anyone who knows the long history these two have together are probably already getting excited, while younger House fans are in for a real treat as two of House music’s pioneers lay down something very special.
Sankeys closing part two sees another stack of awesome talent gathered for our entertainment and another mystery guest to ponder over… The musical menu is looking particularly healthy as Todd Terry plays a special acid set in the Acid House, Sneak and Cajmere return as do Solomun and H.O.S.H. and Miguel Campbell makes another welcome addition, while there is a Wolf & lamb experience in Spektrum and a special guest in the Basement.

Belgium’s Tomorrowland festival in 2012 saw a very special line up as Chicago house legends Sneak, Derrick Carter and Mark Farina teamed up to perform a six-deck, three-mixer spectacular. The trio played on Sunday 29th July as part of the Ovum stage, which also featured Josh Wink, Steve Bug and Shlomi Aber. Check the video here.

With Miami’s WMC 2012 now a blurry memory for many who attended, DJ Sneak has taken time out to compile a video of the best bits to ensure those memories aren’t lost. It was a big WMC for the proud House Gangster, with 15 headline gigs organized by the likes of DJ Mag, Circo Loco, Riva Starr’s label Snatch, Robsoul & Minority Music, Guesthouse, the mighty X-Mix and many more.

DJ Sneak will be hitting Miami hard in 2012 with 13 gigs – kicking off with the We The Brand party and ending with the Om Records daytime party.
