A nice entry from THUMP where in preparation for his upcoming summer tour, Sneak put together ten of his favourite vinyl tracks. You can catch DJ Sneak playing at MYSTERYLAND US at the Vinyl Only stage, on May 24th.
DJSounds.com followed DJ Sneak throughout his summer in Ibiza to dig deeper and find out where his unique sound and gangster outlook come from, speaking to the man himself and those that know him best. The short film features Sneak at Space, Pacha, Tomorrowland, Ushuaia, Underground, on a boat and in the heart of Ibiza Town for a street party, meanwhile Locodice, Carl Cox, Nightmares on Wax, Yousef, Darius Syrossian, Mo’ Funk and Joeski all share their love for the House Gangster.
Mixmag have just released their top 10 most popular ‘The Lab’ sessions of 2013, their weekly office rave up/live stream held every Friday with the world’s top DJs. DJ Sneak drops in at number 6, and in Mixmag’s words: “His 70-minute mix takes us through some truly jackin’ tracks incorporating fat drops, slices of percussion and a truly immense groove throughout.”

With the summer festival season now getting into full swing, DJ Sneak will play the mulletover stage on the Friday at Eastern Electrics Festival alongside DJ Koze, Ryan Crosson and Geddes. EE caught up with Sneak after his recent appearance at the Mixmag DJ Lab to find out a little more.

On May 6, a special Boiler Room broadcast featured two dance music legends: Todd Terry, who has been mixing and remixing dance music since the 1980s, and DJ Sneak, the original house gangster himself. Both Sneak and Todd Terry came correct, each dropping impressive 55 minute sets. Boiler Room’s been on a tear, and uploaded both the visual and audio for you dance music lovers to soak up.
With Harri & Domenic at the helm Subculture has endured like no other club night in the world and is now firmly established as the longest running weekly underground club night on the planet. For their 19th birthday they invited “one of our favourite DJs and truest inspirations” – DJ Sneak

Sneak recently returned to Montreal’s Igloofest for another party in the snow with 8,000 people. This year’s line-up included Josh Wink and Paolo Rocco. DJMag.ca were also in attendance and made this video featuring action from the gig plus interviews.

Here’s a video from a year ago that we were reminded of by a post made on Facebook. Electronic Beats’ ‘Slices DVD’ featured DJ Sneak back in the middle of 2011 which he was staying in Germany. Sneak talks in-depth about his career and his unwavering take on good ol’ fashioned HOUSE MUSIC while cooking up a Puerto Rican feast for his buddies.
Around his recent appearance at the Zoo Project Festival, Sneak took time out to talk to Distract TV and The Fat! Club about British weather, Twitter, and playing for the love amongst other things. We’ve got them both here, along with a short video of Sneak’s set at Zoo Project.

Belgium’s Tomorrowland festival in 2012 saw a very special line up as Chicago house legends Sneak, Derrick Carter and Mark Farina teamed up to perform a six-deck, three-mixer spectacular. The trio played on Sunday 29th July as part of the Ovum stage, which also featured Josh Wink, Steve Bug and Shlomi Aber. Check the video here.
